Is there a meaning behind the red coat? Is it ever is worn? Does the man admire the coat, does it bring joy? or does the man just has that necessity to look at it whenever his feelings stir? Is there regret to seeing it therefore best kept deep dark in the shadows of the room?

ive used a big black coat as a symbol of depression..like bieng 'smothered'..the red coat is one of 'panic..anxiety..maybe on the verge of insanity
